Programme d’orientation Deloitte
Overview

The
Design
Deloitte Canada was looking for an inspiring and contemporary wayfinding system to navigate their new hoteling approach to staff workspace, to be inaugurated at La Tour Deloitte, Montreal.
As visual landmarks, super-scaled floor numbers anchor the design; highly visible sculptural numerals made from brake-formed aluminum and folded to reveal texture behind the physical cutouts. These dimensional design elements push the boundaries between art and design, integrating with the interior architectural elements. The oversized numbers act as beacons across the workspace. Meanwhile, bright green sculptural arrows incorporated into directional signage echo the approach of the super-scaled floor numbers.
Simple, concise messaging, pictograms, tactile lettering and braille throughout help to break down the barriers of language, age, and cognitive abilities. Pictograms were each customized, representing different spaces from quiet zones to a unique treadmill icon for one of the most in-demand workstations.
Both French and English are spoken in Montréal, and with Canada’s diversity, potential clients of Deloitte may speak any language. Therefore, a full range of custom pictograms was developed to minimize the use of written messages.
